For example: - 1 Book of Building costs 925 gems, and saves up to 19days (max xBow). - 925 gems buy you 3.25 pots (925/285), which save 9 hrs x 6 builders x 3.25 = 7.3 days. So to me as a TH15, pots are only worth about 1/3rd of their official Gem value
That's HOURS, not minutes. Training time is a function of the type of troops you are training, the levels of your barracks, and the size of your army camps. Players have control over the type of troops, players can upgrade themselves out of the underleveled barracks issue, but there really isn't anything you can do as your camp sizes increase.
Does anyone have a cost to upgrade calculator? What I'm looking for is say Im TH X, I have X level Y gold collectors, Z level A archer towers etc..…

To add to the other good answers: th9 is where you will start the grind if your goal is to max your base before each next TH. And while as a hint you should, as th9, only focus your attacks/looting to get dark elixir (and the rest will flow in fast also), you will have no diffioculty maxing the walls before you max the heroes (usually).

Unpopular opinion: The goblin builder gem price is good value. For the 2400gems it would take to keep the goblin builder active for the entire 60 days, there has simply been no better thing you could spend your gems on. There’s a lot of complaints that it’s ‘too expensive’ or ‘why would I pay gems just to wait for it to upgrade’ but oMP1W.
