Guys, I need your help. I installed 4.86 and HEN but couldn't connect to the psn servers without an update so I had to skip that step initially. ManaGunz worked fine for running my backups. I wanted to get online though and today I installed 4.87 HFW (without formatting and from safe mode) and reinstalled HEN.

Make sure the EBOOT is for CEX (since you are on HEN) and make sure the EBOOT is compatible with the SPRX menu. What I mean by compatible is that the EBOOT needs to call the SPRX in order to open it so you need to edit the EBOOT if it is not the one used with the menu. One good program to do that is SPRX Elf Builder and a good tutorial is this one.
