Haha. Won't do that again. But it worked out, it was an adventure, we saw hours and hours of Egyptian dessert and Red Sea coastline. The bus dropped us off on the side of the road near Port Ghalib (and many other families were getting personalized drop offs too) so that we didn't need to go all the way to Marsa Alam and then backtrack.

I visit Marsa Alam frequently and I've used Steven's taxis four or five times in the last three years, including two journeys from Hurghada to Marsa Alam. The driver was on time, reliable, polite and fluent in English and the price was a lot cheaper than the hotel taxi.
