Far Cry 5 & New Dawn - Brake/Reverse, Ascend/Descend Button on Gamepad. This is a known issue with Fary Cry 5 & New Dawn that I wish I would have known about BEFORE I purchased, but if you are using an Xbox controller there is an empty mapping for Reverse while driving a car and Descend when flying a helicopter.
I saw a lot of forums on this, but they were back from 2018, So I thought ubsioft would have fixed this by now. I was wrong. In vehicles, the reverse button "L2/left trigger" doesn't work. In planes, I cannot decelerate. In helicopters (the "B" button doesn't work) I cannot descend. Is there a fix for this ? I use Logitech F310 (x input - xbox controller). When I use direct input, everything In Far Cry 6 if you bind any mouse button to forward movement, the game will not allow you to move forward diagonally. For example if you hold straf and move forward at the same time, typically you would move in a diagonal direction. In Far Cry 6, straf in any direction while moving forward completely over-rides the forward movement and youJust a note to say to the developers that they may want to change the side the M-14 has it's charging handle on. The action is also leaning to left of the weapon. It should be a cocking handle on the right side of the firearm, with the action leaning to the right of the weapon. Not the reverse, which is what you've got it at right now in the game. Such a wonderful rifle, and yet ruined
For those gamepad that don't response at all you need to launch the game then connect your gamepad to your pc via a USB cable so that when the game is running you will see that small notification pop up. Now when you see this you need to disconnect the USB cable from your gamepad.
