The Coastal Campaign. The Strada del Ponale, or Ponale Road, is a dramatic road carved into the cliffside at the northern end of Lake Garda. This road was the original link between Lake Garda and the Ledro Valley. In the late 90s, a new road was built turning the old Ponale Road into a beautiful trail for both hikers and mountain bikers.
